In which Pip confronts Estella.

Dan Stevens reads ‘Great Expectations’by Charles Dickens

In which Pip confronts Estella. The orphan Pip has grown up a gentleman, thanks to a secret benefactor. He has always falsely assumed this was the wealthy, bitter spinster Miss Havisham, and that she was grooming him to end up with her beautiful, cold-hearted ward, Estella. Having just found out he's been deceived all along, he confronts Miss Havisham. In this extract, he turns to address Estella.
