She considers him haughty and conceited, especially after he rejected her at a local dance, and then encouraged her sister's suitor Bingley to break off their courtship. In this extract, Darcy surprises her.

    Love Jane Austen, nice eye candy, hate coffee - always have. For some reason the whole time I watched this I was thinking of Kate and Leopold and expected him to talk of Farmers Creamery butter (or whatever it was called) at the end! But all in all, I enjoyed it very much.
